Lydbrook Emergency Plan

Lydbrook Parish Council are currently in the process of drawing up an emergency plan to be activated in the unlikely event of a major incident in our community which would stretch the emergency services. Such events could include flooding, major fire, severe weather, major road traffic incident or something completely unforeseen.

If you are prepared to offer your skills/services in responding to such an emergency, please contact the parish clerk (email clerk@lydbrookcouncil.co.uk) or via our Lydbrook Parish Council Facebook Group.

Please state what skills you could offer. Such skills could include, first aiders, 4×4 drivers, chain saw operators, plant operators, catering or just being a good neighbour to the vulnerable/elderly. Your contact details will be kept strictly confidential.

It is planned to hold a public meeting to progress the plan shortly.
